Historical Task: One example from the cover of Women’s Realm that supports the idea that variety, creativity and quality are limited by the narrow range of magazine distributors during the time period, can be found in the cover lines of the edition. These cover line only feature articles and products about homemaking, children and gardening. This supports the idea because there is no variety as all the cover lines are a stereotypical view about what women can do. The brown/ creme theme isn't very appealing and eye catching which isn't the norm for magazines as successful magazines aim to sell by catching the audience eye.
